ABOUT THE ROLE
Do you like to organise and coordinate? Do you have great customer service skills with great attention to detail? Travelling is one of your passions? Do you have a few years of experience in a similar position at a luxury level? Then you could be perfect for the role of Ground Operations Assistant for one of the world’s most iconic trains.
As Ground Operations Assistant, you will manage all aspects of staff travel arrangements, including hotel bookings, flight reservations, and ground transportation (trains, flights), ensuring a seamless travel experience. You will utilize your advanced programming skills to manage ticketing based on hostess rosters and operational planning, optimizing scheduling efficiency. You will maintain and update department cost files to facilitate data analysis for senior operations and inform future projects. You will report on completed services to enable effective cost monitoring and improved planning. You will be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data on the passenger dashboard, including on/off status and meal requirements. You will create advanced dietary requirements reports (2-1 month in advance) for the kitchen, ensuring proper meal planning and preparation. You will monitor stock supplies in coordination with the warehouse, ensuring that the department's needs are consistently met. You will prepare and complete truck order documentation accurately and efficiently.

Requirements
• Preferably a Bachelor's or Master's Degree
• Professional English and French language skills (spoken and written)
• At least 2-3 years of experience in booking and data entry within tourism companies
• Highly advanced Excel skills to effectively support spreadsheet and data-related tasks
• Guest-oriented and service-minded
• Quality and customer service driven
• Professional and pleasant disposition
• Ability to use initiative and be proactive
• Ability to work under pressure
