Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing and today we are looking for a Static Equipment Engineer who will be our technical specialist in the design, specification, and integration of pressure equipment, such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, air receivers, and steam drums, for industrial and energy plant applications.
This person will be responsible for 2D/3D mechanical design and will oversee the technical coordination of suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review technical specifications and datasheets for static equipment in line with project requirements and international standards. Coordinate mechanical designer to design static equipment using 2D/3D CAD tools (e. g. , Autocad, Inventor, etc. ) Oversee mechanical validation and calculations (mechanical thickness, nozzle loads, civil input calculation etc. ) using relevant codes (ASME VIII, EN13445, PED). Interface with vendors during RF Qs, technical alignment, design review, and final approval phases. Collaborate with the piping and process teams for correct integration into the plant systems. Participate in FAT, inspections, and site acceptance, supporting QA/QC and construction teams when required.
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in design or technical management of static/pressure equipment (e. g. , boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers). Knowledge of applicable design codes (ASME Section VIII, EN 13445, PED, API). Ability to read and produce technical drawings and mechanical datasheets. Familiarity with FEA tools or calculation software is a plus (e. g. , PV Elite, Compress). Fluent in English; Italian is a plus. Availability for occasional travel for supplier meetings and inspections.
