As a Global Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies through data analytics and research. You will leverage data to measure business performance against pricing expectations, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize pricing initiatives to enhance decision-making. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to leverage data and analytics in a high-impact pricing function, driving strategic decisions and business success.
Role Responsibilities
• Acting as the SME & mentor within the regional pricing team, supporting the team manager & other analysts with more complex cases
• Support delivery of global pricing strategies through pricing analytics, proposal review and creation
• Perform root cause analysis to measure business performance relative to pricing expectations
• Manage ongoing pricing tests/pilots to enhance pricing strategies and initiatives
• Research customer behavior (qualitative and quantitative) and apply optimization techniques to support new pricing model development
• Create a suite of streamlined tools using excel and/or Power BI to measure the performance of initiatives based on defined KPI’s
• Measure and track key regional pricing initiatives’ performance to determine whether corrective action is required
• Convert complex data findings into tables, graphs and data visualizations
• Communicate pricing initiatives to regional teams in a concise, visually engaging, and insightful manner (reports, dashboards, documents, presentations)
• Follow up with the appropriate parties to investigate the drivers of pricing performance
• Collaborate with other Go-to- Market teams and Global Strategy & Insights team
• Facilitate new strategy and functionality roll-out
• Discover issues/shortfalls and provide feedback to pricing operations and IT/pricing system
• Keep track of IT/pricing system new updates
Role Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related business field. MBA preferred.
• 4+ years of financial &/or quantitative experience at a financial institution, including bank, Fintech
• Advanced knowledge and experience in developing and using pricing models or similar financial/analytic models
• Understanding of pricing strategies used in consumer-to-consumer industries
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Snowflake with expert command of SQL
• Ability to have big picture view of analysis
• Able to have transparent and productive relationships with peers and collaborate successfully across the organization (global approach)
• Strong communication skills and effective in cross-functional environments
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with people from different functional areas and backgrounds to achieve a desired outcome
