Regional Technical Support Specialist - 1 year fixed term contract

Principal Duties &Responsibilities
•     Provide technical product details to sales teams and customers.
•     Deliver training sessions and create educational materials for internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
•     Develop technical presentations and instructional aids for various audiences.
•     The person will be in charge of regions like: Lazio, Tuscany, Umbria and Marche.
•     Oversee field trials for existing and new products, including design, evaluation, and analysis.
•     Collaborate with universities/research centers to conduct trials and report results.
•     Prepare regular updates on trial progress and results for internal and external stakeholders.
•     Assist in developing product positioning for various crops.
•     Act as a product specialist during client/distributor presentations.
•     Assist Regional Sales Managers in identifying and enhancing commercial relationships.
•     Build relationships with growers, consultants, and distributors to drive sales.
•     Collaboration with the sales team on market research and competitor analysis
•     Customer Engagement:
•     Address technical inquiries via phone, email, or webinars.
•     Investigate product performance complaints and conduct root cause analyses.
•     Provide on-field support for key customers representing large turnover.
•     Product Development &Feedback:
•     Share field insights with the Global Innovation Team and Product Management.
•     Developing comprehensive product application plans, tailored by both crop and customer
•     Support pre-launch activities by participating in late-stage product development tests.
Requirements
•     Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, Crop Science, or related fields required. Masters degree as a plus.
•     Few experience in agriculture (internships/temporary contracts) will be a plus.
•     Proficiency in specialty agriculture production practices.
•     Bilingual proficiency in English and Italian 
•     Strong analytical, written, oral, and presentation skills.

Ability to travel more than 30%.
