Mission
This role focuses on ensuring the correct functioning and reliability of ventilation systems in tunnels and buildings for the railway/metro/road design and construction projects while adhering to current regulations and Rina's quality standards.
Key Accountabilities
•
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rail and road tunnel and building ventilation and safety systems.
•
Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults and malfunctions.
•
Oversee and participate in the design for installation of new systems and the upgrade of existing ones, ensuring proper sizing, configuration and commissioning.
•
Conduct periodic tests and inspections to ensure systems meet safety and quality standards.
•
Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for the work performed, including maintenance reports and operational manuals.
•
Work closely with other departments, such as civil (structural) and system design and Work Supervision, to ensure effective system integration and functionality. #LI-AC2
Education
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering General
Qualifications
•
Experience in the railway/metro/tram/road infrastructure sector with a focus on ventilation and safety systems.
•
In-depth knowledge of MEP ( Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) ventilation, and proficiency with design tools (i. e: fulidynamics calculation tools)
•
Knowledge of Drainage design and design tools is a plus, as well as Conditioning ones.
•
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and the ability to use computerized diagnostic tools.
•
Good knowledge of both written and spoken English.
