Mechanical Engineer Intern

EFI is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Inkjet Solutions Business Unit located in Comun Nuovo, Bergamo Area, Italy for an internship opportunity.

In this role you will be focused on finding new solutions to reduce costs and streamline internal processes for a continuous improvement project.

Main Responsabilities: 

· Find efficient technical solutions to reduce production and product costs, also through the execution of assembly and inspection tests on the printing machines.

· Work closely with electrical and mechanical assembly workers to find new and cheaper solutions.

· Collaborate with the other company functions to streamline processes.

· Find solutions to eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and improve the quality of processes and products.

· Contribute to the monitoring of the results of the implemented solutions and identify further opportunities for improvement.

· Draw up technical documentation and reports related to the results of the newly implemented solutions.

Job Requirements:

· High school diploma or degree in technical areas ( Mechanical or Mechatronics diploma/degree).

· Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

· Fluency in Italian, good knowledge of English.

· Pragmatism and speed of execution.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and to liaise with co-workers of all levels.
