About the Role
The EMEA Sales Excellence role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to streamline processes and enhance cross-functional collaboration across the region.
Key responsibilities include driving strategic initiatives to optimize sales performance, improve operational efficiency, and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the sales organization.
The role also involves designing and overseeing integration processes within the EMEA region, in close collaboration with the Head of EMEA.
In addition, responsibilities include analyzing local commercial markets and business dynamics— using key metrics such as sales performance and profitability by country and product— and recommending actions to boost both sales and profitability.
All initiatives and plans are developed in alignment with the company’ s strategic vision, particularly during the Long Range Planning and Budgeting sessions.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership in defining and executing the vision for sales excellence and continuous improvement. Oversee the EMEA Region on business integration analyzing the current commercial set up and implementing the new one to enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency Develop and implement a comprehensive sales excellence framework to drive consistency and best practices across the organization. Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancing sales processes, methodologies, and tools. Collaborate on the definition and implementation of Commercial EMEA strategy, ensuring consistency with the overall Platforms, assessing the gaps vs the needed and adequate resources and capabilities. Partner with Finance to define sales budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans aligned with corporate objectives and guidelines. Simplify Operating Mechanism between HQ and the Regions. Enhance and create strategic partnerships with customers, suppliers, KOL and institutions, focused on increasing quality of business and reducing costs. Collaborate with the local supply chain process and with GP amp; SC Function.
What We’ re Looking For
Academic degree with a strong economic or business background, preferably from an international environment. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial context on an international basis, in pharmaceutical/medical devices industries. Strong economic background, ability to understand different markets dynamic and financial analysis. Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship building abilities. Flexible mindset, ability to drive change and optimize the organization for ambitious business developments with a high level of personal energy. Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.
