Security Backend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a young backend developer, curious and passionate about technology, with a particular interest in cybersecurity.

Sounds good. What will I do?

You’ll join the Development Team to:



•
Research and identify platform and data security issues;



•
Propose new solutions using the latest technologies;

Design and develop new features to enhance platform and data security;

Address vulnerabilities discovered during Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT);



• Contribute to the implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).


Qualifications

Must-have requirements:



•
Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering;



•
At least 1–2 years of experience developing web applications;



•
Strong foundation in Software Engineering (design patterns, refactoring patterns, unit testing, clean code) and object-oriented programming;



•
Excellent knowledge of the most common web vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, RCE, Session Fixation, SSRF, etc. );



•
Good understanding of distributed web application architecture (HTTP protocol, REST AP Is, caching techniques) – if you've worked on a project, feel free to share your portfolio!



•
Italian speaker.



•
Written and spoken proficiency in English.



Nice-to-have requirements:



•
Experience in cybersecurity

Experience developing REST AP Is – in any language



•
Experience with AWS



•
Experience with PHP



•
Experience with the ELK stack



•
Experience with Git and version control systems

A technical test to get a sense of your skills: we’ll send you a document with 3 exercises, and you’ll have 2 hours to submit your answers.

A 60-minute technical interview with the Backend Team Leader to dive into your technical knowledge.
