The Italian Branch Office of NETZSCH Analyzing amp; Testing, German global leader in scientific instrumentation for thermal analysis, rheology, fire testing, and physical property measurement, is looking for a Sales amp; Application Specialist to strengthen our presence in Southern Italy.
The ideal candidate is based in any of the southern regions— including Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria— and is willing to travel frequently within the territory to support customers across industry and research.
Your main responsibilities:
Promote and sell thermal analysis instruments (DSC, TGA, STA), rheometers, DMA, LFA, and fire testing systems. Manage and develop relationships with existing and potential customers in the industrial, academic, and research sectors. Provide technical support before and after sales, including product demonstrations, application testing, training and presentations. Attend and actively contribute to the organization of trade shows, scientific events, and marketing activities in the assigned territory. Collaborate closely with the Italian team (service, marketing, applications) and the German headquarter.
Requirements:
Master’ s degree or PhD in scientific disciplines ( Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Physics, or similar). Some experience in laboratory instrumentation, preferably in thermal analysis and/or rheology. Excellent communication and customer-oriented sales skills with a consultative approach. Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time in the assigned territory. Good command of English. Valid driving license (B).
