Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
* Working alongside engineers to design, build, and test solutions to a variety of technical problems.
* Inspecting and modifying existing designs and prototypes.
* Conducting research, collecting data, and writing daily reports.
* Using CAD software to develop designs, and implementing feedback from Engineers.
* Running tests, diagnostics, and calibrations.
* Installs, modifies, rebuilds, repairs, and removes manufacturing and facility equipment.
May train other engineering colleagues on proper equipment use and maintenance.
* May assist with writing specifications, obtaining quotes, and purchasing repair parts and equipment.
* Incorporates and ensures safety observances are met, including use of all PPE by colleagues, ensuring guards and safety features are working, and promoting good daily safety practices and habits, etc.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and ExperienceÂ
* Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent), technical certification(s), or license and 3-6 years of experience. Â
Â
Knowledge and SkillsÂ
* Proficient in operating machines, hand-tools and electrical equipment.
* Proficient in troubleshooting, disassembling and assembling equipment.
* Solid understanding of machine building, electrical wiring, and PLC programming.
* Detail oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software (e. g.
CAD).
* Works effectively with minimal guidance.
