Junior UX/UI Designer

W&H Sterilization is a global player in the medical market. We are part of W&H Group, one of the leading manufacturers of dental transmission instruments & devices in the world, with 1300+ employees and products sold in over 130 countries.
We are looking for a talented and passionate  Junior UX/UI Designer to join our growing Design Office in Italy.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATES

We are looking for candidates with a background in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, or related fields (B Sc or M Sc is mandatory). The ideal candidate should possess:
Design methodologies understanding: knowledge and application of Design Thinking, Human- Centered Design and User Testing to ensure solutions based on real needs.
Design Systems knowledge: using scalable and reusable components across different formats and interface supports ( Responsive Design and Atomic Design).
Wireframe, mockup and prototype creation: varying levels of fidelity depending on the context and project stage.
Experience in creating and evolving effective informational and visual hierarchies: adapting them to product needs with clear and efficient navigation flows.
Fundamentals of Graphic Design: typography, colors, and visual hierarchy.
Proficiency in major design tools: especially Figma and Adobe Illustrator.
Basic HTML and CSS knowledge: to facilitate dialogue with development teams.
Teamwork & Organization: strong teamwork attitude, excellent organizational skills, methodical and proactive.
A strong portfolio: clearly expressing skills, experience, and uniqueness as a designer.
  Working experience: 1-2 years of experience in a nationally recognized company would be considered a plus.
  English language fluency: both written and spoken English should be fluent to collaborate with international teams.
  Travel Availability: open to short trips.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE

As part of our international team, you will work closely with the Head of Product Design and other Digital Products team members to:
design digital products collaborating with the internal clients and stakeholders;
participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas;
design wireframes, prototypes, and mockups;
improve Graphic User Interfaces, Usability and Experience;
test and iterate designs based on user or client feedback;
ensure design consistency by maintaining a Design System.
