Description The IT Support Analyst serves as the first-level field support for the site.
The primary responsibility of this role is to be the first line of IT support for local and remote users.
This position is responsible for responding to IT support requests from end users via incoming phone calls/email communications/problem tickets and assisting with user requests (or escalating as required) and other assigned tasks.
Due to the customer-facing nature of this role, interpersonal and communication skills are crucial.
The IT Support Analysts may be asked by the Service Delivery Manager to assist the Help Desk Call Center for a predetermined period of time, especially during peak hours or when Help Desk support staff is unavailable.
Required Responsibilities Research, resolve and respond to end-user problems/issues/questions received via e-mail, phone calls, walk-ups, etc. and provide hardware and application support, such as P Cs, network printers, smartphones, in accordance with current standards and SL As; Work with users to appropriately diagnose the nature of their problems and resolve software, hardware, and phone device issues, as well as access and other support/troubleshooting requests; Responsible for imaging, configuring and deploying new Windows workstations and any desktop software; Required support for radio frequency devices, handhelds, and wireless access points; Respond to requests received at the Help Desk and accurately categorize, prioritize and record service requests; Support specific IT projects and IT business applications implementation (as needed). Required Skills In dept knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and MS Office products Experience with Dell desktops and laptops and Apple products (i Pad, i Phone, and Macbook) Printer configuration and support Networking support - Cisco switches and wireless A Ps Knowledge of telephones and VoIP systems Excellent customer service skills Able to work in a fast-paced, changing, high-energy environment Able to communicate effectively within a virtual team environment Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills Able to work independently with limited supervision Details-oriented Proactive; internal drive to continuously and successfully achieve goals Driving license and available for occasional business travels Fluent in English and Italian Required Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in providing support with Windows applications, hardwares and OS; Experience in supporting an environment of > 50 users; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
