Brief Description:
Develop, manage and implement the ESG Strategy and all Sustainability aspects for Villa Guardia site, in agreement with Corporate guidelines and EHSS S regulations.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
• Structuring and creating a strategic plan for sustainability, overseeing sustainable development projects in terms of products and processes and proposing sustainability objectives, goals and improvement projects.
• Drive strategic sustainability excellence, grant ESG reporting compliance, manage communication and promote product and circular economy sustainability.
• Evaluate sustainability impact and elaborate strategies to reduce environmental impact.
• Implement and deliver sustainability training plan, aimed at spreading knowledge of company policies, increasing awareness and corporate culture on sustainability values.
• Data collection and analysis, to calculate the equivalent CO2 emissions as defined by the GHG protocol passing through scope 1, scope 2 and scope 3.
• Collaborate with other sites of the Jazz Pharmaceuticals to implement, promote and share the progress of ESG projects.
• Propose and manage projects to reduce the energy and utilities consumption and environmental impacts, in coordination with engineering and manufacturing functions.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators and metrics for evaluation of environmental impact, energetic efficiency and continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes.
• Maintain EHS S compliance with National and European laws.
• Collaborate to maintain the Company Integrated Management System, writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures, supporting and monitoring internal processes and managing EHS S documentation.
• Collaborate in preparing and participating to audits and inspections by National Authorities and certified bodies.
• Collaborate to maintain relations with Authorities.
• Support EHS S Manager in Departmental activities and act as a back-up for critical activities to grant the constant and full compliance in all EHS S aspects.
• Embrace the Continuous Improvements mindset by leveraging the Operational Excellence Culture and Tools in the day-to-day activities.
• For her/his area of relevance/responsibility, monitor and ensure compliance with the GMP and Quality System.
• Perform all work activities, in compliance with the safety directives, as required by Legislative Decree 81/08.
• Follow Environmental, Health and Safety procedures in compliance with the principle of the company Policy; apply the relevant guidance and indications of the Integrated Management System.
• Attend education and training courses in the Integrated Management System, GMP Quality, Procedures, Instructions, manuals and Operational Protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Laws, Codes, corporate standards and Procedures related to her/his area of relevance/responsibility, included the legislative decree 231/2001 and requirements of the Jazz Pharmaceuticals Code of Conduct.
• Know and strictly observe Jazz Pharmacovigilance’s Policies/SO Ps.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• 3-5 years in similar roles
• Experience in highly regulated industries sector (GMP, ISO management systems, …)
• Pharma or chemical industries background (preferred)
• Project management experience
• Communication and teamworking skills
Required/ Preferred Education and Licenses
• Engineering degree or equivalent ( Energetic, Environmental, Electrical, …)
• Yellow/ Black Belt certification (preferred)
• Training/ Knowledge on GMP, ISO 45000, ISO14000, EMAS
• Project management certification (preferred)
• Fluent English
