Engineering Administrative Coordinator

Job Description


Thriving in a fast paced environment, detail oriented and thriving off giving exceptionally personalized service, the Engineering Coordinator is responsible for providing first-level support to the team, assisting in daily office needs, and managing the department’s general administrative activities.



•
Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Engineering, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.



•
Oversee and track maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and efficient communication between the engineering team and other departments.



•
Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies for the engineering department. Coordinate orders and restocking as necessary.



•
Organize and maintain engineering files, records, and safety reports, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and industry standards.



•
Assist in tracking departmental expenses and assist in budget preparation. Ensure cost-effective management of resources.



•
Act as a liaison between the engineering department and external vendors/contractors. Coordinate schedules and ensure quality service delivery.



•
Support the team in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist in the preparation for audits and inspections.



•
Prepare and maintain regular reports on the department's activities, including maintenance schedules, inventory levels, and other performance metrics.



Qualifications




• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Administrative  role, preferably in a hospitality environment.


• Experience with all aspects of the Google platform.


• Excellent communication skills (via phone, email and in-person).


• Ability to multitask at all times.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
