Your missions
• Manage, maintain, and optimize cloud-based databases ( Azure &AWS) for client projects.
• Ensure data availability, integrity, and security across multiple environments.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to guarantee business continuity.
• Monitor and resolve database performance issues, optimizing SQL queries and processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient application integration.
• Implement and manage user access, permissions, and data security policies.
• Stay updated on compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc. ) and ensure adherence.
• Provide technical expertise and support to client teams on database best practices.
Your profile
• Proven experience with MySQL, Microsoft Azure ( Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance, Data Factory), and Amazon Web Services ( Amazon RDS, Aurora, Lambda, Glue, Cloud Watch).
• Strong skills in SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Experience implementing data security policies and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience as a Database Administrator in cloud environments.
• Fluent Italian (mother tongue) and good English; other languages are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated on new technologies.
