The company:

A well-backed and rapidly growing renewable energy developer focused on utility-scale projects across emerging markets. With a strong pipeline and ambitious expansion plans, they specialise in both Greenfield development and strategic acquisitions. As they scale their operations, they are seeking an experienced CDO to lead the development strategy and strengthen their leadership team.



The role:

Lead the full lifecycle of project development, from origination to financial close. Define and implement the company’ s development strategy across multiple geographies. Oversee land acquisition, permitting, grid connection, and stakeholder management. Build and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Act as a key point of contact for partners, investors, and regulators. Support M amp; A and portfolio expansion efforts in target markets.



The person:

5+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, ideally in solar or wind. Proven leadership of complex, multi-country portfolios. Deep understanding of permitting, PPA negotiation, and regulatory frameworks. Strong commercial instincts and ability to work with investors and executive teams. Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
