Hauptaufgaben Incumbent serves as an Administrative Support Specialist responsible for time keeping for both U.
S. and Local National personnel and assisting in budget-related tasks.
Assists with a variety of personnel management programs, such as merit promotion, incentive awards, beneficial suggestions, and cost reduction.
Assists with military and civilian personnel management, including leave and pass administration, personnel accounting and strength management.
Serves as the Command Automated Time, Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) system administrator.
Ensures timely receipt of ATAAPS and DCPS payroll reports (i. e.
Certified/ Uncertified Time and Attendance Reports, Missing Time and Attendance Reports, and Invalid Transaction Reports) and ensures current leave regulations, payroll policies and reporting procedures are followed.
Ensures current guidance is available for the Brigade Supervisors relating to correct input procedures, application of leave regulations, and administrative requirements to support unusual circumstances.
Ensures that Time and Attendance certification data is processed promptly in accordance with ATAAPS processing schedule.
Serves as point of contact for final resolution of all ATAAPS problems and inquiries.
Serves as the Command SCUDO system administrator.
Ensures timely processing of Italian Local National Payroll.
Reviews and interprets a wide range of payroll law, policy, regulation, directives, and Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS) Payroll Office Advisory Releases regarding the DCPS Application System.
Reviews, verifies, and processes a variety of payroll and time and attendance data.
Provides general and technical advice and assistance relative to DCPS system support policy, planning, and procedures.
Performs duties relating to reports control and records management.
Prepares all reports and maintains all data pertaining to records management.
Prepares and submits purchase requests and service contracts in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) a web-enabled enterprise resource planning system that allows the U.
S.
Army to share financial, asset, and accounting data across the Army.
Researches sources provided by requestors and ensures the best value for all purchase orders, purchase requests and service contracts.
Screens requisitions against GSA, and other federal agencies for available excess items, which could be utilized.
Analyzes office supply needs, makes Government Purchase Card purchases and ensures use of equipment and supplies.
Oversees and ensures the timely flow of all accountable documents that are forwarded to Resource Management.
The incumbent is responsible for reviewing and editing requisitions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
Under the supervision of the senior Budget Analyst, assists in a variety of budgetary, administrative, and statistical functions to support budget formulation.
Tracks funds distribution, reconciling commitments/obligations and reallocating organizational funds as directed.
Reviews estimates to assure that amounts requested are within established guidelines.
As a GPC holder, ensures all budgetary transactions are in compliance with policies and procedures.
NOTE: Tour of duty is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 08. 00 to 17. 00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.
Qualifikationsanforderungen MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the qualification requirements in the Qualification Standards Handbook as summarized below.
EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the UA-03 grade level.
Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Diploma di Laurea Specialistica/ Magistrale; education must be directly related to the occupation.
