D BaaS Portfolio Products Leader is an overlay pre-sales management position that through a matrix model leads a team of Product Specialists and Solution Architects.
This team serves as a resource to drive adoption and expansion of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.

Portfolio Products Specialist does, including running 201 level solution evaluations, orchestrating large deal structures, providing competitive knowledge, and driving expansion opportunities.
You will report to the Sr.
Director of Outcome Engineering and Portfolio Products.
About the team Our Portfolio Products Specialists and Solutions Architects organization is made up of around 90 specialists and solution architects across 3 theaters (AMER, EMEA, APAC).
This group supports our entire global sales and pre-sales organization to drive the adoption of our Portfolio Products.
Our Portfolio Product Specialists and Solution Architects team are responsible for supporting an ever-growing set of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
Portfolio Productsand solutionsfocused on Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud Management, Unified Storage, Database/D BaaS DaaS/EU Cand Cloud Requirements● Assist and guide Portfolio Product Specialists and Solution Architects with selling new software subscriptions in an overlay capacity with an adopt and expand methodology for rapid growth. ● Implement analytical and operational methodologies to track growth and pipeline against team goals with operational effectivenessin order toeffectively meet quarterly quotas for our Portfolio Products. ● Provide an escalation point for pre-sales to the Portfolio Products Business Units/ Product Management/ Engineering for issues that arise. ● Build and maintain relationships with strategic customers. ● Act as a floating Portfolio Product Specialist and fill in for existing team members if there is a resource conflict or vacation coverage. ● Orchestrate complex deals structures with competitive knowledge, use case strategies, and expansion opportunities. ● Support the field SE and AE teams in strategic Portfolio Product opportunities, solution evaluations, and competitive knowledge. ● Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and leaders within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. , such as Channel, Marketing, Product Management and Engineering. ● Management responsibility (matrix) for Portfolio Product Specialists and Solution Architects from a global perspective, this may include recruiting, mentoring, training, quarterly check-ins, escalation conversations, etc. ● Ability to travel about 50% of the time(whenpermissible About you● You have10years of experience as a Pre- Sales Engineer, Sales,overlay product specialist, or an equivalent technical position.
Prior management experience (5years or more) is highly desirable. ● You possess deep knowledge of cloud,virtualizationand management/operations technologies. ● You have strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. ● You are a humble leader with a bias for action. ● You have experience selling new technologies with a focus on product adoption and expansion. ● You have a history of co-ownership and execution on ambitious growth plans. ● You operate with a ‘whateverittakes' attitude and motivation to do whatever is necessary to assist in closing a deal. ● You have a Bachelor’s Degreein Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
MBA is a plus.
