ROLE SUMMARY: The International School of Bergamo is a friendly and expanding school opened in 2011.
In just 10 years, we are proud to have become an IB Continuum World School offering the Primary, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes.

We are seeking a Science Technician who will be responsible for the two Science Labs.
The Science Technician will collaborate with the MYP & DP Science Teachers, coordinating the use of resources and practical facilities, providing assistance and advice on the teaching needs of the Department.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic professional, preferably with experience of the International Baccalaureate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide assistance and advice on the teaching needs of the Science Department.
Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Prepare and set up experiments and demonstrations for classes.
Assist students and teachers during laboratory sessions.
Manage and organize laboratory supplies and inventory.
Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe laboratory environment.
Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment.
Stay updated on safety regulations and best practices in laboratory procedures.
Contribute to the development of laboratory manuals and instructional materials.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: To be an EU passport holder or already be in possession of a valid visa that enables to work in Italy Bachelor degree or above in the relevant field Academic qualifications in the Science subjects ( Chemistry/ Physics/ Biology).
Good understanding of science teaching hazards and risk assessment.
Good level of English.
Excellent organizational skills.

Able to prioritise workload and use initiative.
