Job description Failure Analysis is one of the key Company processes to drive product and process Quality improvement.
By analyzing either Customer returns or Qualification rejects, the aim is to identify and characterize defects responsible of the device electrical malfunctioning and feedback Manufacturing organizations to improve device fabrication processes.
The PQR Agrate Failure Analysis Lab is looking for a Failure Analysis Technician, who will support the physical analysis on Customer returns and Qualification rejects, applying advanced non-destructive (infrared, optical, x-rays and scanning acoustic microscopy, as well as x-ray tomography) and critical sample preparation methodologies (chemical and laser package decapsulation, backside decapping and thinning, mechanicalcross sectioning), using state of the art equipment.
The candidate will be required to work in a team dedicated to cover weekends in an extended frame (fri-sun, 10 hours/day)• fri 12-22• sat 9-19• sun 9-19 Profile Position requirements School education: Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Physics or Chemistry, or Secondary school diploma ( Perito Elettronico, Perito Chimico, Perito Fisico) Seniority: less than 5 years and in line with Internal mobility policy.
Experience: Process Engineering (preferred) or Shift Engineering; equipmentmanagement/control and device fabrication process knowledge are welcome.
