As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will deliver the complete recruitment process, managing stakeholder and candidate expectations throughout and providing solutions to recruitment challenges. Your will be engaged in attracting, sourcing and hiring the best talent to meet current and future business needs ensuring speed, sustainability and best in class recruitment. This position plays a key role in supporting recruiting activities and building the candidate experience; providing candidates with their first impression of Oerlikon. The role is based in Brugherio and your country focus will be Italy and Europe South.
Main Responsibilities
• Managing the recruitment lifecycle from start to finish (writing and publishing job ads, screening candidates, conducting interviewing, conducting tests and assessments where required)
• Acting as an expert on the market and advising stakeholders and HR colleagues
• Proactively sourcing active and passive candidates through business networks, social media channels and job boards
• Developing effective strategies for evaluating and sourcing candidates
• Ensuring a positive and smooth candidate experience
• Building relationships with Stakeholders to ensure an effective and efficient recruiting process
• Supporting TA and social media related projects
• Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives and Employer Branding activities
Output & Key Result Areas
• Gain an understanding of the business requirements, reading through job descriptions in order to equip you with the knowledge to successfully seek out relevant candidates
• Build candidate pipelines by researching and contacting universities, employment agencies and internet sites
• Building talent pools for future reference
• Support regional HR colleagues
Required education, experience, knowledge
• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years full cycle recruitment experience (staffing agency experience preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of hands on recruiting experience with high volume recruiting strategies required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with web based recruiting tools such as Success Factors
• Experience in active sourcing of candidates
• Comprehensive behavioral based interviewing and candidate assessment skills
• Telephone experience in interviewing or customer service
• Must have proven ability to be flexible and multi-task in a fast paced, high demand environment
• Experienced in recruiting for international locations required
• Expert level interview coordination skills and managing scheduling with hiring managers
• Expert verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English is a must
