Supplier Quality Engineer

Webuild is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer , to be included in the Vendor Management department in  Milan headquarters. The ideal profile has 1-3 years of experience.

Main responsibilities


• Supporting the definition and implementation of the Vendor Management system, in compliance with the principles of the Code of Ethics, the Organisation, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 and Webuild's Anti- Corruption Model;


• Managing the vendor qualification process, in coordination with the Global Commodity Manager structures and the Regional Procurement Managers, in order to verify the coverage of the vendor list for each commodity class;


• Supporting the collection of evaluations and performance indicators (KP Is) of the service, commercial, QHSE, financial and quality levels of suppliers/contractors, collecting the relevant data in order to determine their overall rating and ensure the management and updating of the vendor list;


• Carrying out, if necessary, audits/technical inspections of the qualification and management of suppliers/contractors with the support of the Departments in charge;


• Application of audit procedures and process evaluation metrics;


• Analysis of deviations from qualification requirements and preparation of plans and corrective actions to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service levels;


• Supporting Operations Units in managing relations with suppliers and contractors.

Requirements


• 1-3 years of experience in the role within structured contexts;


• Master's degree in Engineering, Economics or related disciplines;


• Fluent knowledge of English. Knowledge of other languages is appreciated;


• Knowledge of the main Vendor Management methodologies and techniques (selection, development and management of the supply base);


• Knowledge of evaluation techniques;


• Experience in vendor audits and knowledge of relevant procedures and process evaluation metrics;


• Ability to perform market analysis and mastery of purchasing strategies;


• Excellent command of MS Office ( Excel, Word, Power Point);


• Availability for travel, including international travel.
