To maintain good relationships with existing customers, as well as potential customers, through provision of a high-quality service To maintain and improve Dematic’s image as a world class leader, by adopting an honest, professional and attentive approach To liaise with Sales Managers and Account Managers to identify new Enhancement sales opportunities Site Visits and Site Surveys to adequately scope out project requirements To liaise with, and interpret, customers’ requirements and initial requirements into; Specification Project solution Project layout Project programme Costing sheet and offer document Verify unit cycle times, system throughput, and initial dimensional requirements Liaise with internal engineering departments and external sub-contractors to further develop the project definition To carry out Design Risk Assessments in line with statutory requirements To generate project file containing; Project definition Specification Costing sheets Project programme Offer documents General correspondence Tasks and Qualifications: At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within an industrial engineering environment, ideally with project management experience Degree/MBA qualified or similar level of qualification through experience and training Software and systems integration experience and skills will be key, although a solid foundation on the principles of mechanical and electrical design will remain an advantage.
