Software Integration Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

: Build and maintain RES Tful, GraphQL and gRPC API integrations for internal and third-party systems. Design and define integration requirements and architecture with engineering / product teams. Develop and manage integrations, API versions and automated workflows. Ensure security best practices with O Auth 2. 0, OpenID Connect, and API gateways. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues for seamless system communication. Monitor and optimize integration performance with logging and tracing tools. Maintain API documentation using standards such as the OpenAPI Specification (OAS). Implement event-driven architectures with Azure Service Bus/ Event Grid. Support containerized services in Azure Container Apps. Stay updated on industry trends to improve integration strategies. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on system-to-system integrations. Expertise in RES Tful, GraphQL and/or gRPC AP Is, including API lifecycle management. Experience with Azure and/or AWS, including serverless and containerized environments. Proficiency in event-driven patterns, and messaging queues e. g. Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, AWS Event Bridge Strong knowledge of OpenAPI Specification (OAS) for API documentation. Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as CRM, HR and ERP platforms ( Net Suite experience is an asset). Proficiency in Go and/or Node. js for backend and integration services. Understanding of O Auth 2. 0, OpenID Connect, and secure API communication. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data queries and transformations. Experience with Infrastructure as Code ( IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, or Cloud Formation for managing cloud-based solutions. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills across teams.
