Introduction:
Omnam Design Studio, the in-house design studio of Omnam Group— a leading developer in the hospitality sector— is seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join our team in Rome.
In this high-impact role, you’ ll lead the design of exclusive hospitality projects from initial concept through to detailed design, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers. You’ ll be responsible for setting the creative direction, selecting materials and finishes, and delivering exceptional, functional spaces that bring our brand vision to life.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious projects, influence design strategies, and see your creative concepts realised across high-end F amp; B and hospitality environments. This is a full-time role based in Rome, Italy.
Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows is essential for this role, as our projects are fully integrated with advanced digital design processes.
Key Responsibilities and Roles
Creative and Design Leadership
Develop and lead innovative interior design concepts for luxury hospitality projects. Present design proposals through compelling sketches, mood boards, material boards, and high-impact visual presentations. Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting that align with project vision and brand standards. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging design innovations to keep Omnam at the forefront of luxury design.
Project Collaboration amp; Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, engineers, and external consultants, to ensure seamless project execution. Participate in design meetings to maintain control and understanding of project progress. Oversee design development from concept through detailed design phases, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and Omnam’ s high quality standards.
Technical Oversight
Lead the integration of Revit and BIM workflows into the design process to ensure accurate technical documentation and efficient project coordination. Review and coordinate interior design drawings and layouts directly in Revit, ensuring alignment with project requirements and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Provide guidance on visualisations and assist in the creation of high-quality design visuals and walkthroughs using tools such as Enscape (preferred but not mandatory).
Qualifications
Bachelor’ s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in interior design, ideally within luxury hospitality or high-end residential projects. Experience working with prestigious hospitality operators (e. g. , Marriott, Four Seasons, Hyatt) is a strong advantage but not essential. Strong design portfolio showcasing creative leadership and high-end interior design solutions. Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, and luxury FF amp; E sourcing. Fluency in Revit is mandatory; candidates without demonstrated Revit expertise will not be considered. Strong understanding of BIM processes and workflows; experience working within a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) is highly desirable. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Enscape or similar rendering tools is a plus. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Candidates must have existing authorization to work in Italy.
