As a Senior Innovation & Strategy Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the innovation strategy for the Italian market, identifying new business opportunities, and creating impactful strategies that connect startups, corporates, and investors. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to build and execute programs that accelerate the growth of innovative startups and bring breakthrough ideas to life. Your expertise in strategy, innovation, and the Agrifood Tech space will help position Eatable Adventures as a leader in Italy’s evolving food ecosystem.

Tasks


• Lead Innovation & Strategy Consulting Projects – Oversee strategic consulting projects for leading food companies, ensuring high-quality execution, client engagement, and business case development.


• Manage Open Innovation Programs – Coordinate and manage open innovation programs, working closely with corporate partners, marketing teams, and innovation stakeholders to foster breakthrough solutions.


• Client Engagement & Relationship Management – Work directly with corporate innovation teams and industry partners to develop cutting-edge strategies, methodologies, and business opportunities that drive growth and innovation.


• Team Leadership & Mentorship – Supervise and mentor consulting teams, ensuring effective project management, fostering collaboration, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in project execution.


• Business Development & Opportunity Identification – Lead business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities, expanding client relationships, and supporting the growth of Eatable Adventures’ innovation consulting services.


• Commercial Proposal Development – Develop commercial proposals, define strategic direction, select appropriate methodologies, outline expected outcomes, and manage budgeting to ensure alignment with client needs and goals.


• Product & Service Innovation – Support the development of new products and services related to open innovation and innovation strategy consulting, aligning them with market demands and company objectives.


• Market Research & Industry Insights – Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging needs in the food and Agrifood Tech sectors, applying this knowledge to enhance consulting offerings. Stakeholder Collaboration & Ecosystem Engagement – Foster strong relationships with ecosystem stakeholders, including startups, corporates, investors, and innovation hubs, to enhance business opportunities and drive industry leadership.

Requirements


• Experience & Background – 5+ years of experience in innovation consulting or strategy development preferably within the food industry, Agrifood Tech, or related sectors.


• Project Management Expertise – Proven experience leading and managing innovation or strategy consulting projects, including work planning, client engagement, and project execution.


• Client Relationship Management – Strong ability to build, maintain, and expand relationships with corporate clients, innovation teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction and successful project delivery, always trying to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth


• Consulting Methodologies & Tools – Familiarity with industry-leading methodologies for innovation strategy, open innovation programs, and business case development.


• Leadership & Team Management – Experience managing and mentoring consulting teams, ensuring effective collaboration, timely delivery, and quality outcomes.


• Commercial Proposal Development – Proven ability to create commercial proposals, outlining strategic direction, methodologies, and budgets, while ensuring alignment with client needs.


• Industry Knowledge & Trend Analysis – Deep understanding of the food industry, innovation trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies within Agrifood Tech.


• Communication & Presentation Skills – Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders at all levels.


• Problem- Solving & Strategic Thinking – Strong analytical mindset with the ability to develop innovative solutions, address client challenges, and drive sustainable business growth.


• Tech- Savvy & Tools – Proficiency in project management tools, CRM systems, and collaboration platforms; familiarity with industry software for innovation management is a plus.


• Languages – Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken). Spanish is a plus!
