Are you looking for a new professional adventure as an experiencedSAP Basis Administrator in a dynamic and growing consultancy company? Well, we are looking for a professional to join our team at our offices in Milan, Turin, Bologna or Rome!
Our group is made of young and talented people supporting national and international partners in their innovation projects. The core team is based in Milan, but we are spread all over the country, such as in Turin, Bologna, Rome and Bari. Why are we looking for SAP Basis Administrators? Our trusted and prominent clients in the technology sector are asking us for support on both projects and maintenance of the SAP environment.
The role involves configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrading SAP systems, as well as collaborating with teams to ensure the smooth operation of SAP processes. Documentation and modernization of the SAP environment are also key aspects of this opportunity.
What will you do?
Implement and maintain multiple SAP instances across various environments (development, test, training, production).
Manage the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure proper promotion of configuration and development objects.
Introduce technical changes into the environment with a structured approach to minimize risk and optimize reliability, availability, and performance.
Design and implement optimal SAP configurations to enhance system performance and availability.
Install and configure necessary SAP database servers and application servers.
Monitor and manage both online SAP user workload and background job workload.
Plan and execute SAP tuning strategies to maintain system performance.
Monitor all SAP systems and administer the SAP database, including upgrades, maintenance, backups, and security.
Participate in planning and implementing SAP system upgrades.
Apply and migrate SAP maintenance packages and upgrades.
Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.
What do we request?
Proficiency in most or every of the SAP Basis Administratoin resposibilities as described above.
Full professional proficiency in Italian and English languages is required.
Availability to be present at the Milan, Turin, Bologna or Rome office twice a week.
