Overview This role will be focused on creating demand, building professional channels and growing sales of Lutron lighting control and window treatment solutions in Italy and globally.
Responsibilities Build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, industry professionals, and leverage their network for new introductions.
Identification and creation of new sales channels where possible, for a diversification of the business in Italy.
Coordinate with territory sales team to surround the job and close orders from generated specifications.
Build technical expertise with commercial and residential and hospitality solutions.
To execute the sales plan through the added value partners channel and the distribution channel, for lighting control as well as automated shades.
Drive Lutron sales growth to meet or exceed business plan targets.
Educate and raise awareness of Lutron’s full product offering.
Participate in local trade groups and networking events for influencers.
Proactively initiate and execute new strategies to enable market growth.
Keep accurate account information and sales records in CRM tool (currently SFDC).
Stay aligned to Lutron’s culture and values: Be passionate.

Qualifications The successful candidate will be a well organised, motivated and dynamic individual who has experience working with specifiers particularly the MEP community, Architects, Designers, end users and channel partners in Italy.
Significant knowledge of the Lighting, Custom AV and Window Treatments industry.
Extensive experience in a sales role with a track record of fostering B-B relationships with customers to build their business.
Excellent communication skills, both externally with customers and internally with colleagues.
Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
Possess a full driving license.
Desire to work as part of a dynamic team and develop a career with an ambitious company.
