Job Title: Sheet Metal Product Sales Manager ( Global) Sheet Metal Product Sales Manager ( Global) has the goals to increase sales and build customer relationships, regarding product line focused on sheet metal laser cutting technologies, worldwide.
This position is the front-line specialized contact between the company and customers for the assigned product line.
Responsabilities Achieve the expected annual sales quota, globally, with respect to the Sheet Metal product line; Contribute to the development of the assigned product line, its promotion and diffusion on the reference markets; Build relationships of trust with customers (existing and potential), according to a win-win approach; Respect the management of the sales process, according to rules, procedures (commercial, legal and administrative) and tools established by the Sales Management.
Activities Planning, forecasting and management of the sale of the entrusted product line, in the assigned territory; Performing customer visits to assess customer needs and provide quotes for the assigned products, in an assigned territory (the minimum number of customer visits per month is defined by the Sales Management and yearly updated); Development of solid and ongoing relationships with customers, visiting customers (existing and potential) with respect to the assigned KP Is; Constant updating of product information and documentation to be used with customers, with particular attention to the documentation related to the product line entrusted to him; Complete and issue the quotes for new and potential customers; monitor of orders closure; Daily use of the CRM system for the purposes of verifying and updating existing data; Towards the Sales Management and the Internal Sales Office, updating, in-depth analysis, feedback and reporting regarding customers and potential contacts, in order to monitor, plan and report all sales activities; Taking charge and managing the process of transferring the information necessary to the technical and commercial areas in charge of the product development and improvement, to organize and plan demonstration tests and in-depth studies, based on customer requests.
Note: in relation to the above, it is important to underline that in every job description the information provided is necessarily concise, focused on the main objectives set by the position; in the normal course of work, it is necessary to provide for integration with tasks, activities and responsibilities that have logical relevance and correlation with the description and information expressed.
Must have Diploma or degree in technical and/or business administration; At least 5 years of experience in the sale of technical products (preferably industrial machinery or industrial automation systems); In-depth knowledge of the management of Sales and Service processes regarding common commercial practices (purchasing process, price analysis, shipping terms and methods, payment, administrative and fiscal constraints); Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package ( Word, Excel, Outlook); Availability to travel by plane or car, worldwide (75% of working hours); Ability to build solid relationships with customers, starting from understanding their needs; Ability to prioritize and plan the efficient use of time and resources; Previous knowledge and experience of CRM software; Excellent knowledge of the English language and - preferably - of a second language (knowledge of the Italian language is a preferential requirement in the case of applications of non- Italian nationality).
