Job Description Senior Sales Engineer / SASE Architect ( Italy)
There are no restrictions on where you are based in Italy. Ideally, you will be near to either Milan or Rome but this isn't essential.
This individual will be part of the Italian SE team and become the center of excellence for specific SASE technology areas and associated Fortinet products/solutions. They will need to be comfortable in front of customers of all levels and be able to deliver presentations, demos and proof of concepts. Ideal candidates will have excellent knowledge of public and/or private cloud technologies, software development experience, network/application security expertise and support four main areas of responsibility.
What You Will Do:
Become an expert in Fortinet products, with a focus on SASE, SD-WAN endpoint and application security
Maintain knowledge of competitive products and services
Respond to industry analyst inquiries and conduct demos
Be a Trusted Advisor
Attend customer meetings and provide expert opinion on security design/architecture
Publish reference architectures for specific use cases
Be a continuous learner
Dedicate a percentage of their time to ongoing training/education for new technologies
Help drive technical webinars and hands-on demo’s
Be an evangelist
Publish public information, such as whitepapers and blogs around salient technology topics
Draft architecture papers for in-depth analysis and reasoning for technology adoption
Continuous active networking within the industry to build relationships and awareness
Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in roles such as SE, Consulting SE, or Solution Architect in the Networking, Infrastructure, and/or Cybersecurity industries
Have in depth knowledge and hands on experience with Firewalls, SSL/IP Sec VP Ns, Security Proxies and Caches, SD-WAN and endpoint security
Working knowledge of Python, Java and/or other programming languages
Excellent presentation and demo skills
Superior documentation and technical writing capabilities
Three or more years of experience in network security
Comfortable with public speaking

Role: Solution Account Manager - OT/ Critical Infrastructure Fortinet is seeking a Solution Account Manager that will manage and drive sales engagements in a specific territory and partner with Field Sales. The Solution Account Manager will manage a direct quota in specific accounts in a territory and lead customer engagements with Field Sales, Field Systems Engineers, Competence Center leaders, engage with Product Management/ Marketing, and end customers to deliver a revenue objective. In this role, you will identify complex security challenges within your customers’ environment and drive opportunities to close.
