R&D Oleochemistry - Researcher

We are looking for a resource who, reporting to the R&D Manager, will be responsible for:


• Design and synthesize new products in the area of ​​ Oleochemistry;


• Learn and use analytical and applicative methodologies to characterize oleo materials;


• Investigate and understand the relationships between structure and behavior of derivatives and correlate them with the application performance;


• Support the Applied R&D Laboratories in the use of Oleo derivatives in their formulations;


• By knowing the parameters of the Oleo derivatives production process, help optimizing each step to achieve the desired results;  


• Take care of the development of the formulas / processes through synthesis on pilot scale facilities;


• Search for alternative solutions in the choice of raw materials;


• Ensure the reporting of the experiments carried out and the recording and internal sharing of the know-how.

Education and other requirements :


• Degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry with an interest in technology and processes;


• Short experience in R&D or Application Laboratory;


• Knowledge of updated instrumental analytical techniques;


• Fluency in English;


• Knowledge of the main application software and IT tools;


• Proactive behavior and team work spirit;


• Problem solving and curiosity skills;


• Creative and target oriented;


• Willingness to travel;


• Accuracy, autonomy and reliability complete the profile.
