R&D HW/SW Test Automation Platform Management Intern

Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated and passionate intern to join our Research and Development team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong curiosity for hardware test automation and software development, and will be eager to learn and contribute to innovative projects in a high-tech environment focused on the integration and interconnection of complex 4G/5G and future 6G devices.
The new intern will be involved in projects with a particular focus on software development for test automation and troubleshooting activities.
This includes hands-on experience with modern development tools and methodologies used in the validation of embedded systems and electronic devices.
Key Responsibilities Support the development team in designing and implementing automated tests for hardware.
Contribute to software development using programming languages such as C# and C++.
Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Visual Studio by Microsoft and other internal tools.
Collaborate with experienced engineers to identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing best practices.
Document test cases, testing strategies, and results.
Qualifications Requirements University student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python, or Java Script.
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Artifactory is a plus.
Familiarity with automation/CI-CD tools such as pytest, Robot Framework, Eggplant, Jenkins.
Familiarity with electronic measuring tools (e. g. , oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters).
Familiarity with Linux and Unix-like operating systems.
Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and solve problems proactively.
Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Nice to have: Basic knowledge of TLC ( Telecommunications) concepts and technologies.
