< br/> Responsibilities The candidate will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for coordinating the purchasing and procurement department. Specifically, the main activities will include: ? Market analysis, supplier scouting, and supplier evaluations, including on-site visits and business trips ? Managing contract negotiations and framework agreements with a cost-saving approach and identifying alternative purchasing solutions ? Organizing weekly and monthly purchasing plans ? Managing the resources within the purchasing and procurement department to ensure the proper logistical flow of inbound materials, in line with budgeted costs and production plan requirements ? Overseeing monthly inventory management for product categories ? Collaborating with the quality department to align on purchasing specifications, and with the production manager to review actual sales budgets and adjust forecasting plans accordingly ? Actively pursuing continuous improvement initiatives, both in terms of cost efficiency and in sourcing higher-quality suppliers
< br/> Your Profile Only candidates with the following requirements will be considered for the selection process:
? Degree in technical or business-related field, with 8?10 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager in industrial companies operating in the machinery or plant engineering sectors ? Strong proficiency in using key enterprise MRP systems ? Fluency in English ? Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
A strong results orientation, teamwork skills, analytical and organizational planning abilities, and excellent negotiation and communication skills in both Italian and English will complete the ideal candidate profile.
