We are looking for a Digital Twin Researcher to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality applied research in the areas of multiphysics simulations, multi-disciplinary optimization (MDO), enabling technologies and tools for deploying Digital Twin technologies, simulation workflow automation and HPC.
In particular, we are looking for a candidate with expertise in any or more of the following areas: Multiphysics simulations, computational structural mechanics, topological optimization, thermal management, design optimization, multibody dynamics, and simulation workflow parametrization, automation, and parallelization.
Qualifications:
Master or PhD degree in a STEM field, preferably Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics or Computer Science.
Seniority:
Junior, Expert.
Desired technical skills and knowledge:
•
Modeling and simulation background in aerospace, mechanical or electronic engineering.
•
Knowledge of commercial Multiphysics simulation software (e. g. Ansys, Altair, Pointwise, icepack, Dassault Systemes CST Studio Suite, ANSA Beta CAE, etc).
•
Knowledge of open-source and commercial optimization tools (e. g. , DAKOTA, GEMSEO, OpenMDAO, Gorubi, modeFRONTIER, HEEDS, ISIGHT, HYPERSTUDY/OPTISTRUCT, MATLAB, etc)
•
Familiarity with open-source simulation software (e. g. OpenFOAM, SU2, TAU DLR, openEMS, ELMER, Kratos, Firedrake/PETSC, Netgen/NG Solve, etc).
•
Familiarity with multiphysics simulation methodologies using high-fidelity methods (e. g. , FVM, DGFEM, FEM, LBM, SPH, CAA, CSM, EM, CHT, FSI, CFD, FDTD, etc).
•
Familiarity with pre- and post-processing tools commonly used in Multiphysics simulations (e. g. , Ensight, paraview, CATIA, space Claim, ANSA Beta CAE, Fluent meshing, pointwise, freeCAD, Blender, Hypermesh).
•
Familiarity with multibody dynamics tools (e. g. , ADAMS, SYMPACK).
•
Familiarity with low-fidelity and mid-fidelity simulation methods, such as vortex lattice methods, vortex particle methods, panel methods, surface vorticity methods.
•
Experience with Linux Operating System.
•
Experience using HPC infrastructures.
•
Simulation skills in any (or multiple) of the following areas: structural dynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermal management, electro-magnetism, multi-body dynamics, etc.

How does the recruitment process work?
We will collect applications and evaluate the C Vs most closely aligned with the requirements. Selected candidates will undergo a motivational and aptitudinal interview with the HR team, followed by an in-depth technical interview with the Business.
