Local Project Improvement Lead - (Temp 6 months)

Job Description


This is a 6 momths key role in providing essential service to manage the project plans, escalating critical issues and risks, identifying resource pinch points, managing dependencies within the program and interdependencies with other Rotork’ projects, ensuring that agreed business benefits are realized.



Reporting to the Managing Director, in this role you will be part of creating and own a detailed project plan and utilize project management methods and standards within the program of work. Monitor, track, and control project delivery and work with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables. Provide leadership by building and motivating local and global team members to support the implementation of changes.

In this role you will be responsible for the successful implementation of other critical customer experience changes on the site. Aligning with the Global Customer Service program team, the Local Project Improvement Lead will work with functional leaders across Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, HR and IT to deliver change.

This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. Identify and develop trusted adviser relationships with key global, regional and local stakeholders. Ownership and management of the project plans, ensuring delivery on time with associated benefits realised through strong KPI management.

 

Qualifications


Experience Requirements:



• At least 5 years’ experience of successfully delivering customer-focused projects and programs within a manufacturing context, including people, process, and system activities.


• Ability to work effectively within a global matrix organization, embrace diversity and inspire/influence others to be the best they can be.


• Proven ability to set and maintain direction and hold self and others to account to deliver business outcomes on time and within budget.


• Ability to communicate clearly and manage change effectively, in Italian and English


• Expertise in LEAN methodology to drive continuous improvement, optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency through waste reduction and quality management techniques.


• Willing to travel when required and provide on the ground project leadership
