The Legal Specialist is responsible for ensuring, also in a complex ad very demanding context, the compliance with the applicable law and, in the same time, with the internal Policies and Procedures as concerns all the activities/projects/ issues in which she/he will be involved.
CONTRACT: Draft (from scratch or on the basis of existing templates and standards), review and analyse a broad range of contracts (such as: ICT agreements; LoI, memorandum of understanding; NDA; distribution agreement, designs/models licenses agreement, marketing &public relation agreements, Supply and Services agreement, Agency Agreement, Terms Conditions, etc); Draft post- Agreement documents (letters, addendum/amendment, settlement Agreement, etc. ); Customize/modify contracts based on the needs of the internal client/support the internal client in negotiation phase with the clients and the suppliers; Archive all the legal documentation and prepare reports.
IP: Provide Legal advice on trademark protection and on intellectual property; Work closely with external counsel/ Law firm on IP issues for protecting and enforcing the Company's intellectual property rights around the globe; Supports external counsel on preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent/trademark application and with anti-counterfeiting activities.
DATA PROTECTION LAW: Give legal advice for all European Group Companies about Data Protection Law; monitor constantly the applicable Laws updates and the provisions of the competent Authorities; monitor the correct implementation of the data protection documents (such as: Data Protection Procedures and Guidelines, Cookie and Privacy Policy for the Company web-sites; Information Privacy Notice with consents formula; Data Processing Agreement; etc).
Qualifications Law Degree.
Qualified Italian Lawyer is not necessary but could be a plus.
Required skills &experience From 3 to 6-years in a reputable law firm or as in-house legal specialist in a large organisation.
Past experiences with focus on commercial and contractual fields is highly appreciated Italian, professional knowledge of English language both written and spoken A high level of attention to detail An enquiring mind and willingness to ask questions Ability to drive decision-making High level of problem solving attitude Business oriented Ability to work well within a team, and to contribute to and enhance team dynamics Ability to build effective, trusting relationship with clients/counter-parties Strong communicative and organisational skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities High energy and a positive and proactive attitude The candidate will act in a dynamic and international environment mixing technical and business competencies.
