Junior Front-end Developer

We are looking for a Junior Front-end Developer ( Internship) to join our engineering team.

You will work together with the team responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our websites and web applications.

You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Main responsibilities:



• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices


• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices


• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases


• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs


• Create and maintain software documentation


• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our websites


• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities


• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent


Requirements



• Problem-solving


• Expertise in CSS and HTML, including layouts and cross-browser, CSS preprocessors (SCSS)


• Basic expertise in Javascript programming ( React) including concepts like asynchronous, ES6, and closures.


• Basic expertise in Word Press and basic concepts on theme development


• Basic knowledge with boundler ( Gulp / Webpack)


• Basic experience with PHP Framework ( Laravel) is a plus


• Understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices


• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process is a plus


• Good problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills


• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude


• Fluent in Italian and English


• German is a plus
