Java Full-Stack Developer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Java Full- Stack Developer with expertise in Angular, Java, and Oracle Database to join our Uni Que Ispra team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.

What will you be bringing to the team?



• Develop and maintain web applications using Java/J2EE and related technologies.


• Design and implement SQL databases ( Oracle, MySQL) and manage Oracle RDBMS.


• Build and enhance frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, Java Script, and Type Script.


• Utilize Spring Framework, Hibernate/ Eclipse Link for backend development.


• Manage version control using GIT and SVN.


• Work with Maven for project build and dependency management.


• Implement and optimize Apache Solr and Lucene for search functionalities.


• Develop and maintain JSP-based applications.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions.


• Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.


Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?



• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and ORM frameworks like Hibernate/ Eclipse Link.


• Proficiency in SQL ( Oracle, MySQL) and Oracle RDBMS.


• Experience with frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, Java Script, Type Script.


• Hands-on experience with Maven, GIT, SVN for project management and version control.


• Familiarity with Apache Solr and Lucene for search implementations.


• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.


Desirable:



• Experience in Agile development methodologies.


• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.


• Familiarity with cloud-based environments.
