About the Role Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Supervisor, the candidate will be a mechanical leader for highly complex projects.
S/he will be responsible for technical matters, planning and controlling all engineering activities within the company, in accordance with company safety and design standards and guidelines, determining and maximizing the allocation of resources.
Key responsibilities will include: Ensuring all necessary information flow (in terms of products, processes, and systems as well as the required technical documentation) to all production and engineering departments; Supporting the sales team and customer service team in quoting complex engineering systems and gathering technical information; Designing technical proposals through system layouts or cost estimates of required components or modules; Technically discussing project decisions with the Mechanical Design team and engaging it during the process; Supporting design changes in collaboration with manufacturing to modify some machine parts according to specific customer requirements; Follow the production order from the first technical contact with the customer to the testing phase (SAT).
What you need to be successful Master's degree in mechanical/robotics/aeronautical or aerospace engineering; Previous experience in the technical design of automatic machines; At least 4-5 years of experience in international markets in the field of automatic machines or machine tools or industrial plant construction with high technological content.
Experience in mechanical drawing will be considered a plus; Willingness to travel in the area of responsibility (25% of working time); Fluent English (B2/C1); Good knowledge of the main IT tools and of 2D and 3D CAD; Excellent customer and internal communication skills; Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; Problem-solving and coaching skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
