A. is currently seeking a: Automotive Diagnostics and Communication Engineer for its subsidiary in Turin.
The resource will be responsible for the interface management of diagnostic description files, communication databases, and reference regulations, supporting the configuration of the diagnostic stack and the development of application software and test components on HIL systems related to diagnostics and communication.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse and apply UDS/OBD regulations; Analyse and/or modify diagnostic description files (CDD, PDX); Analyse and/or modify communication databases for CAN, Flexray, LIN buses (dbc, fibex, ldf); Implement and perform tests on HIL or in-vehicle using dedicated software tools (VT System, INCA, CA Nape, CA Noe); Configure diagnostic and communication stacks using configuration and autogeneration tools ( Vector Da Vinci Configurator); Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of information; Support product design and development.
Skills & Qualifications: Vector Da Vinci, CA Nalyzer, CA Noe, CA Nape (network analysis, simulation, testing, and calibration in automotive systems); ETAS INCA (measurement, calibration, and diagnostics in automotive development); IBM RTC, Doors; CAPL (simulation environments); CAN ( Controller Area Network), Flexray; UDS ( Unified Diagnostic Services), OBDII ( On- Board Diagnostics II); VT System; Configuration of AUTOSAR classic communication stack on CAN, Flexray; Configuration of AUTOSAR classic diagnostic stack on CAN, Flexray; AUTOSAR methodologies and architectures for developing automotive software systems.
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or similar.
Experience: Experience in the software development process, requirements analysis, implementation, unit testing, integration, and integration testing (V Cycle); Experience in vehicle testing and calibration with Vector - ETAS tools; Experience in the development and validation of control units in Powertrain, Chassis areas; Experience in design, development, testing, and validation in HIL systems.
Language: Fluent in English.
