About the role

At Four Seasons Hotel Firenze we are looking for a passionate Housekeeping Intern who will learn different tasks of the department in order to become a key point of contact in the Housekeeping Operations. This position assigns rooms to Room Attendants, dispatches Houseman and Runners on requests and supports the overall day-to-day efficiency of the operations.

What you will do


•
Support with the organization of daily works according to the Hotel occupancy and forecast. Run and complete daily reports.



•
Assist with scheduling work to be done daily, collecting room and floor status sheets for assigned work areas.  



•
Coordinates work orders in assigned section. Follow up to be sure work is completed and release checkout rooms to be sold. Keep Opera PMS system updated at all time.



•
Receive and record on follow up list all guest phone requests. Ensure guest requests are filled accordingly and timely.



•
Support Floor Supervisors in inspecting the work of a team of Room Attendants and Linen Runners.  



•
Inform the Maintenance team regarding any maintenance job needed as soon as you discover the issue.



•
Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of public areas, back of the house, Spa and Laundry.



•
Assist with other tasks when needed.



•
Develop and present a project work to reinforce training.  


What you bring


•
Education: High school education or equivalent experience.



•
Service passion about delivering true genuine guest experiences.



•
Attention to detail, great organizational skills and a multitasking approach.



•
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English. Italian would be a plus.



•
This position requires the ability to lift equipment, carry and balance trays.  



•
Travel required: None.

This position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze and the contract is full time internship
