Our global podcast hosting network delivers more than 400 million listens per month across four continents, enabling more than 50 thousand podcast producers to get heard and create successful podcasts. We're looking for a talented and passionate engineer to work on our platform and products. You'll work with our team of engineers to build, improve, maintain and grow our Podcast Delivery Network, our Advertisement AP Is, and other applications built using mainly event driven Serverless technologies. We are looking for talent to grow our core Delivery/ Ad Tech Team: Part of the Triton Digital family, the Delivery/ Ad Tech Team takes care of evolving our platform. Podcasting is a growing and competitive market. We strive to provide the best possible technological infrastructure to customers ranging from small-independent to big media companies to other podcasting platforms, improving it on daily basis and reacting to the market. The team is mainly responsible for:

• Podcast Delivery Network a globally used CDN with dynamic ad injection capabilities used by a big range of publisher all around the world


• Other small and large supporting micro services, especially in the Advertisement Domain
You'll be asked to organize your time, plan your work and be a team player. We expect you to take ownership of the systems you build, and that means:

• You're responsible for the operational health of your services. The work is not done just because the code is merged to master.


• You're empowered and encouraged to fix operational issues and make sure the technology powering our platform and products evolves as the industry moves forward.
In addition to the above, given the strict availability requirements of the content delivery platform the team build and operates, this job position requires the team members to be part of a weekly on-call rotation. What boxes do you need to tick to apply for this position? These are the essentials:

• You are fluent in English (both verbal and written)- English is the primary business language for our global team.


• You have Residency in Spain or Italy


• You have proven, long-term experience in building applications with


• You are familiar with build automation, TDD and continuous integration


• You know how to deal with SQL databases and key-value data storages


• You understand HTTP well


• You are familiar with the challenges of distributed systems and async architectures


• You are familiar with instrumenting and monitoring applications in production
This is what will get you some bonus points:

• You built and operated services based on AWS Lambda and Serverless architectural patterns


• You worked in the Ad Tech or Podcasting industry


• You are familiar with Grafana/ Prometheus


• You are familiar with DynamoDB and Redis


• You are familiar with Docker and Github Actions
