Financial Controller - Rome

Location: Rome, Italy

Salary: €65,000–€70,000 + bonus
Type: Full- Time

I’m searching for a Financial Controller to manage the full finance function for a hospitality opening in Rome. The role involves both strategic oversight and operational control, supporting the property through its launch and ongoing development.

Key Responsibilities:




• Lead all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities


• Track financial performance and implement cost control strategies


• Ensure compliance with Italian financial laws and internal policies


• Handle payroll processes and manage relationships with external consultants


• Build and lead a small finance team on-site


• Partner with the General Manager on financial planning and business analysis



What I’m Looking For:




• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance, ideally within hospitality or a comparable sector


• Full fluency in Italian and English


• In-depth knowledge of Italian financial regulations


• Strong leadership and analytical skills


• Must be eligible to work in Italy
