Expert On-line - Fixed-term Contract

Valmet is looking for an Expert On-line to join our team in Bologna office on a 1-year temporary contract to receive customer's request promptly inherent in machinery issues, verify and resolve properly problems by remote. After a period of training on the job, the role works independently to complete given tasks.

Key responsibilities:


•
Collect customer requests inherent the issues to be resolved



•
Remote assistance and customer support for resolving issues



•
Supervise, update of software and correct working parameters



•
Update online machinery software



•
Foster the development and continuous proposal of services, as well as the transformation of customer requests into performance improvement opportunities



•
Consolidate an proactive service on the installed base machinery


To succeed in this role you should have or be:


•
Degree in Automation Engineering or Informatics



•
1’ year of experience as a programmer, software designer



•
Fluent spoken and written both English and Italian, Spanish language is considered a big plus



•
Computer skills (network infrastructure, LAN, WAN, Profinet, Profibus, HTML)



•
Knowledge of Siemens Step 7, Tia Portal, Motion, Sinamics, HMI WinCC, Data network transmission: Profibus, Profinet



•
Open to travel up to 25%



•
Available to shift work and on-call
