Your 'day to day'
As an Engineer - Testing Technology you'll implement and contribute to the development of engineering projects / processes to meet the technical and business needs and objectives.
Support the development of concepts (systems) for product and process quality improvements, performance and experience needs, technical alternatives, designs, standards, test and validation plans under a low level of supervision. Review technical trends and standard methodologies to support the product portfolio and to meet PMI technical requirements and business objectives, including safety and productivity goals.
Apply proven scientific / engineering principles and practices and collaborate with relevant internal and external colleagues to analyze/enhance controls systems, processes, and products to perform system and product improvements.
Track project/activity progress/status per the identified plan activities and recommend revisions to the timetable and resource requirements to ensure all assigned projects are maintained on schedule and within the budget requirements. Provide timely updates to the project/activity owner. Perform knowledge management via data compilation, review, and storage in line with Company, FDA or any other equivalent accreditation authority requirements.
Produce and maintain accurate and complete documentation that describes a new product, process, and/or system, including all relevant information for legal or compliance purposes, to ensure a complete record to close the project/activity.
Take part in assigned research/engineering projects and coordinate the technical activities of internal and external partners to meet the identified project scope and objectives required to ensure their successful closures.
Transfer the accomplished product, process, and system quality improvements, including knowledge and expertise, within the organization to ensure sustainable implementation.
Who we’re looking for
University degree (M Sc preferred) in an Engineering ( Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or Science ( Chemistry, Physics, Engineering Physics) field
About 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the tobacco industry or in a multinational environment
Excellent organizational and project management skills ( Agile, Waterfall)
Experience in managing the development of industrial solutions, following E2E process, is considered an advantage
Data analysis, interpretation, and presentation
Strong communication skills, enjoying collaborative teamwork
Proficiency in English. Italian is considered an advantage.
