Responsibilities* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to understand data requirements and prioritize acquisition efforts for their specific business questions* Lead the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of commercial data sources relevant to PHARMA, including but not limited to sales, prescription, patient, payer, and market data* Develop data acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as data quality, coverage, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. * Oversee the integration of acquired data into internal systems and platforms, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compatibility with existing datasets. * Establish and maintain relationships with external data vendors, ensuring access to high-quality data sources and negotiating favorable terms and agreements.
Requirements*BA degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree (e. g. , MBA, MS) preferred. *7-10 years of experience in commercial data acquisition, within PHARMA* Proven track record of success in identifying, evaluating, and acquiring commercial data from diverse sources, including syndicated data providers, etc. * Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets and communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences. * Experience with data integration, database management, and data visualization tools (e. g. , SQL, Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
