RINA is currently recruiting for a European Projects Financial Advisor to join its office in Genoa or Trieste, Italywithin the Marine Excellence Centre Division.
Mission The R&D Financial Advisor is responsible for managing the financial aspects of research and development projects within the organization.
They ensure that accurate financial records are maintained, expenses are tracked, and compliance with accounting standards is upheld. #LI-MB4 Key Accountabilities'1.
Financial Recordkeeping: - Maintain detailed and accurate financial records for R&D projects, including income, expenses, and assets. 2.
Budget Management: - Work with R&D project managers to develop project budgets, track spending, and report on budget variances. 3- Cost and Expense Allocation: - Allocate project costs to appropriate categories and ensure that expenses are properly classified. - Monitor project expenses, ensuring that they are in line with the established budget and project requirements. 4.
Financial Reporting: - Prepare regular financial reports and statements related to R&D projects for internal stakeholders, management, and external entities as required. 5.
Contract and Grant Management: - Manage financial aspects of contracts, grants, and funding related to R&D projects, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. 6.
Collaboration: - Work closely with R&D teams, project managers, and other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
