• Lead and manage the team of Subject Matter Experts (SM Es) responsible for developing and curating assessment items for AP exams in world languages.
• Provide guidance and support to SM Es throughout the assessment item development process, ensuring alignment with AP standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with SM Es to review and refine assessment items, offering insights and expertise in assessment writing as needed.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of assessment items.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and linguistic integrity of assessment items.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Stay informed about developments in language education and assessment practices, incorporating best practices into the project as appropriate.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e. g. , Education, Linguistics, Language Studies).
• Proven experience in program or project management, preferably in educational assessment or language education.
• Bilingual proficiency in the native language and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Experience in assessment writing or content development, with a strong understanding of assessment principles and practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e. g. , Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) is a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
