Analyst - Financial Planning

POSITION PURPOSE:

The financial department aims to provide sound financial guidance to the affiliate, while playing a key business partner role, influencing decisions, and driving productivity to achieve business results. This role is the primary financial contact for one of our Sales and Marketing Business Units. Activities include financial control, planning & forecasting, reporting and business case analysis. The position requires a strong knowledge of finance and accounting. It requires excellent communication skills as the candidate will be working closely with Senior Management, global and regional groups, as well as internal and external partners.

POSITION MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:


• Provide comprehensive financial support for their own area


• Cooperate in mid- and long-term forecasting for Sales and OPEX


• Provide relevant reporting (quantitative & qualitative) for their own area


• Provide value-added financial analytics to support business initiatives and decisions


• Streamline the Financial Planning department processes, implementing automation where possible


• Fiduciary responsibility:
- Support the business to be compliant to financial policies and procedures
- Maintain internal controls and compliance as relates to job responsibilities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND ESSENTIAL SKILLS:


• University degree in Economics, Finance or engineering (international studies are a strong plus)


•  2-3 years' experience in financial analysis/consulting in a multinational company (experience abroad is a plus)


• Experience in cross-functional work/projects


• Fluent in Italian and English


• Analytical skills


• Presentation/communicationskills
