We are currently seeking an AC Power EMEA Service Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bologna, Italy! What kind of work will you be doing? Following advanced trainings on AC products, by the Vertiv Academy and by the Tech Support team, including with practical experiences, the Tech Support Engineer will work, as priority, to help resolution of AC Power equipment’s after-sales incidents, in accordance with the Company policy and Safety Standards. The after-sales activity support ( Incident Management) will be the main priority of the Tech Support Engineer, with the help of the whole team, will be done essentially “remotely” from the Castel Guelfo ( Bologna- Italy) Vertiv facility, but site visits will not be excluded, whenever required.
The tech support engineer will maintain consistent feedbacks from critical field conditions, report to the team and to the Company.
The Tech support engineer will apply, when required, unit or returned parts investigation, based on test or simulations, and report specific functions or behaviours.
The tech support engineer will prepare the tech report document, associated to the cases, that can be shared with our customer. What will make you successful? School Background in Electrical or Electronic engineering ( Diploma with experience or degree are equivalent); Language skills: Fluent English (other languages are a plus); Technical / Functional skills: Experience or out of School Concepts in Power Electronic AC Power (UPS) or similar technologies ( Power Converters); Ability to write ( Technical Reports, in English); Easy in MS Computer tools ( Word.
Power Point, Excel, Teams); Strong communication skills, calmness under pressure, team-oriented, driven, customer service-focused, willingness to travel occasionally, and flexibility in multitasking, even beyond the main scope.
